Jade Lelievre

As a French movement artist based in Los Angeles, I strive to channel raw emotion into physical expression that transcends language and culture. My work explores the beauty and complexity of personal transformation. Blending grounded technique with emotional authenticity and narrative-driven movement, I aim to create performances that resonate deeply and invite shared reflection.

Biography

Jade Lelievre is a French-born dancer, choreographer, and vessel of stories told through motion. Rooted in the disciplines of ballet, contemporary and fusion, her work exists at the crossroads of discipline and spirit, training and release. After crossing oceans to refine her artistry at Santa Monica College, Jade blossomed under the mentorship of visionaries like Karen McDonald and Marissa Osato Moreno.

Her movement has found home on both concert stages and commercial world. With each performance, Jade carries memory and intention, inviting audiences to feel deeply and reflect.

Equally devoted to service, she offers free ballet classes to children in Compton, planting seeds of grace in places often overlooked. At Santa Monica College Academy, she teaches dances of the world, Hawaiian, Hip Hop, West African, Mexican, Salsa, honoring each form’s soul.

Jade is a member of Girl World, a fierce and feminine dance collective led by Fred Martin. Now, she shapes a Barre au sol method inspired by the chakras, where movement becomes meditation, and the body a sacred landscape for healing.

She dances not just to be seen, but to awaken.
